KITES

Inspired by the immortal words of Kate Bush – KITES KITES KITES

An open call to artists and kitemakers of all stripes.

Not paintings of kites, not photos of kites, but actual KITES!

They don’t have to be able to actually fly but look like they might. Any sort of kite – Dragons? Birds? Monsters? Bats? Octopus? Jellyfish? Abstracts? Painted kites? Fabric kites?  Any kite goes.

We will hang the work on the gallery walls and ceiling so visitors can take a walk through a sky of hanging kite magic. We are looking for unique and fantastical submissions!

There is a $15 submission fee for up to 3 static works or 1 video per artist or cooperative artists. Although you can submit 3, we will only be accepting one piece per artist.
