Watercolor Society Fall Exhibition The Marshall House 1301 Officers Row, Fort Vancouver National Site, WA
September 16 & 17, 2022 Friday & Saturday 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM
The public is invited to our Fall Exhibition at the Marshall House. There will be 9 awards, including one for the best “Heritage” painting, and for People’s Choice. Artists’ Demonstrations will be on the front porch on both days. Free!
Ninety watercolor and water-media artworks will be displayed for sale from SWWS Juried members. Juror Maria Gonser, co-owner of the Attic Gallery, will select paintings for awards. Awards chair Leah Murphy will present prizes on Saturday, September 17, at 2:00 PM on the front porch, or in the parlor if it rains.
About the Watercolor Society
Formed in 1979 in Vancouver, Washington, the Society offers encouragement and support to artists working in watercolor and water media. New members are accepted all year and they are welcome to attend painting workshops and Plein air events sponsored by the Society. SWWS serves the Southwest Washington counties of Clark, Cowlitz, Klickitat, Lewis, Pacific, Skamania, and Wahkiakum.
Each year the Society sponsors scholarships to Clark College in Vancouver. College students over 18 may join the society free as associates. For more information please visit our website at www.swwswatercolor.org.
