Washougal Studio Artists Tour Celebrates Sixth Year this Mother’s Day Weekend

WASHOUGAL, WA - The Washougal Studio Artists Tour, now in its sixth year, is excited to invite art enthusiasts to explore the artistic heart of Washougal. This Mother's Day weekend self-guided event will take place on May 13-14 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., featuring 25 talented artists spread across 9 unique studio locations.

The tour celebrates the artistry found within the community, offering visitors the opportunity to discover and admire the eclectic group of artists producing a variety of media, including paintings, sculpture, mixed media, handmade jewelry, acrylic, watercolor, oil, fused glass, fiber arts, and more. This year's tour also features a new collective, the Adret' Artist Collective at Studio #6, comprised of five local artists who share studio space and inspiration to create mixed media, collage, and acrylic art.

This year's tour showcases several new artists, including bronze sculptor and painter David Van Zandt, Peace By Piece Pottery by Jennifer Patel, DK Designs with Jenni Armstrong's pyrography, and leather arts.  LesleyAnne Ezelle of Moonview Alpaca Farm creates woven alpaca fur items and pottery as well as a creative couple, acrylic artist Nancy Carkin, and woodworking artist, Jeff Mayhew

The tour’s newly redesigned website, washougalstudioartists.org offers visitors the opportunity to explore the world of each artist, with in-depth profiles showcasing their unique styles and creative processes. The website also features an interactive Google Map integration, allowing visitors to easily find driving directions to each studio location, as well as local Washougal restaurants and hotels.

"Our artists are eager to share their passion for art with visitors and give them a glimpse into their creative process."
